Live Virtual Advanced ECG Course
Emergency Physician's ECG Course (EPEC) - Live Virtual
Advanced, clinically focused ECG interpretation taught through real-life emergency cases using the EPEC Storytelling Approach — designed to move beyond theory and improve real clinical decision-making.
About the Course
About The Live Virtual EPEC Course
The Emergency Physician’s ECG Course (EPEC) is an advanced ECG interpretation course designed from a clinical perspective. Rather than teaching ECG interpretation as isolated theory, EPEC focuses on the knowledge clinicians need to recognise, interpret, and act on important ECG findings in real emergency practice.
The course uses an innovative teaching method known as the Storytelling Approach, built around real-life clinical case scenarios. This approach is designed to improve knowledge retention, learner engagement, and the practical application of ECG interpretation skills.
Since its launch in 2016, EPEC has been delivered more than 40 times and completed by over 2,000 clinicians from more than 20 countries.
The Live Virtual EPEC course is delivered only four times each year and follows the UK time zone. It combines pre-course preparation, a full live interactive teaching day, and post-course access to recorded learning material through a blended-learning approach.
